I got my first wheaton over 16 years ago when they were not popular. I bought him as a result of a n advertizement at thon the last page of a Sunday NY Times sport Section. The puppy as in Provo,Utah and at the age of nine weeks was put on a commericial pane and i picked him up ($800 flight incuding) at JFK Commerical section. I named him “UTAH’ and he was my best friend for 11 years till for thew first time he became ill. I ws devestated but a close friend told me to get another wheaton right away before Utah passes away. I did. Over that time span I felt that the SACWT Breeder were destroying the breed due to their new found popularity. I found Jmac kennels in Nova Scotia and for almost the sqme cost 111 years later I bought my second wheatie site on scene. for almost the same cost of Utahg 11 years earliuer. I named the little girl the last of a litter of seven, “Dublin” (”Dubby”)….Dubby turned out to be a beautiful l;ovinhg doggie…to a point that the once thought dying UTAH lived for another two years.
Dubby is now almost 5 years old and like Utah she has been in perfect health to this date and I love her more than life itself. Whenever we walk ion our East East End LI, NY Village we get stopped every 10 feet. I do not trust the US breeders. I highly now recommend any SCWT from Nova Scotia - I got Dubby from “JomaC kENNELS” ..THEY HAVE A NEW NAME BUT IF YOU GOGGLE jOMAC kENNELS YOU WILL GET THE NEW SIT…
